Meet Miss Shannon

Shannon Mullins is a  music educator in Batesville Indiana. With two decades of teaching experience, Shannon's dedication to nurturing musical talent led her to establish Miss Shannon's Music Studio, a thriving place for aspiring musicians. Her passion for vocal performance ignited during her studies at NKU and studying with Nancy Martin, shaped her into a skilled vocalist and educator. As a licensed Musikgarten teacher for over 15 years, Shannon has honed her expertise in cultivating musical foundations in young learners. Starting with babies and toddlers, she starts them on their life-long musical journeys. Her private voice and piano instruction spans two decades, enriching the lives of countless students. 

 

Shannon's influence extends beyond her studio; she shares her knowledge as a music teacher at Saint Louis School for K-2 and 5th grade. She has been a musician for Holy Family Church in Oldenburg for 25 years and has directed the Children’s Choir for 20 years. She directs two musical productions annually at her studio, showcasing her dedication to musical theater. In 2023, Shannon's impact expanded further as she initiated an after-school choir program at Batesville Intermediate School, fostering a love for choral music among the youth. 

 

Her passion for music goes beyond teaching, evident in her role as the Vice President of the BAAC (Batesville Area Arts Council), where she actively contributes to the local arts community. Shannon Mullins is a  full-time musician and seamlessly blends her roles as an educator, performer, director, and advocate for the arts, leaving her mark on the musical world of Batesville and the surrounding areas. 

 

Shannon and her husband Bryce also perform together locally.  Shannon is also a full-time Mother. Music and family are Shannon's two favorite things.
