Rock & Roll Journey
Do you want your child to learn about music and how to play an instrument but you are afraid? You're afraid it will be boring?! Our NEW group of classes is for our young "Rockers"! These Rock & Roll classes will introduce your child to different genres of rock & roll, in addition to the instruments that were used to create these soulful sounds. Your child will explore the music from the 1950s, cruise the 1960s, groove through '70' & '80s, and rock out to the '90s and now - all while learning about the natural rhythm, solfeggio, bucket drumming, trying out instruments, and more! All of these classes will be music and movement-focused, plus fun and exciting!
What would a rocker be without a "GIG" bag? Each child will receive a gig bag to take to and from class. All Rock & Roll Classes will be taught by our Master Rocker, Miss Shannon!

For Those Who Like to Rock
ages 7-11
This class will be the start of your child's Rock & Roll journey!
In this group, your child just might be introduced to the music of Elvis, The Beach Boys, Led Zepplin, and Dave Matthews Band - all while learning about drums, guitars, bass, keyboard, and vocals. Plus, your child will work with band equipment, chord charts, and all the first steps of being in a band.
ages 12-16
As we rock into a full band experience, the class playlist may include music by Queen, Aerosmith, Buddy Holly, or Weezer, and more.
The group will get a more in-depth look into each instrument, plus begin studying each instrument within songs, the basics of songwriting, and the history of Rock and Roll - all while learning to work with band members to learn songs and perform.
