Meet Ally

Ally has been involved in music most of her life and has loved every minute of it. Piano has always been her concentration - a passion for which began at age 7. She enjoys playing and teaching music from timeless classic literature of the past to the modern popular pieces of today.

 

Besides being a pianist, she is also an organist and vocalist. In 2017, Ally received a certificate in Piano Pedagogy from Northern Kentucky University, where she studied both the piano and the organ. She is a part-time organist at St. Philomena and Cecilia’s church in Brookville as well as the choir director of the Adult Choir, Children’s Choir, and Ladies Gregorian Chant Schola there.

 

Ally has taught piano and voice at Miss Shannon’s since January 2013. She teaches students of all ages but especially enjoys bringing music to kids. Introducing them to music in a fun, educational environment and helping to nurture a love of music at Miss Shannon’s has been a true and lasting joy.

Ally is married to Evan and has a lovely little boy.
