A Musical for the Birds
Winter/Spring Musical
For Ages 5-12

Tuition: $240
Everyone gets a part!
Please have your child learn a short song of their choice to perform at auditions
During auditions, we will:

Read from the script (for those that are ready to read)

Learn a short dance from the show

Play acting games

Sing from the musical

Please prepare a short song to sing
*One performance on Thursday March 12 at 7:00 pm
*Free and open to the public, donations to our scholarship program are
welcome at the door.
Theater Gallery
Children's Theater
Children's theater is an important part of our studio. We have a Fall/Winter and Summer production. The Fall/Winter production starts with auditions at the beginning of September and rehearses weekly until the middle of December.
Our Winter/Spring Program is for the younger ages. This is for ages 5-13 and is a shorter musical. The practices are an hour long and we practice 8 times and then perform the musical.
Our Summer production is an intense workshop lasting a week. Auditions are in May and cast members work on their own through the Summer until July. Then, we have an intense 5 full days of practice. We start practices on Sunday and end on Thursday afternoon with our performance on Thursday and Friday evening. All performances are held at Batesville High School auditorium.
Miss Shannon's Music Studio has been producing musicals since 2014.
All performances are free to the public, but we accept donations to our scholarship fund.
