The Randy Mullins Scholarship Fund
The Randy Mullins Memorial Scholarship was founded in the Spring of 2019. The scholarship is in honor of Batesville resident Randy Mullins, who passed away in 2018.
Randy was always an advocate for music and music education. He believed that music is an enriching part of life that everyone should access to regardless of their background or financial situation. Because of his love of music and helping people, this memorial scholarship was set up in his honor to help students who have an affinity for music but do not have the means to afford lessons.
Miss Shannon's Music Studio is proud to honor Randy by creating this scholarship and looks forward to assisting students who may not otherwise have the opportunity to enjoy music as a lifetime hobby or career.

First Annual Scholarship Fundraising Dinner
On August 10, 2019, the first annual Randy Mullins Fundraising event was held at Miss Shannon's Music Studio. The event was well attended by members of the community.
The attendees enjoyed hor's devoures and drinks from Izzy's Catering. The entertainment for the evening was a concert by Dr. Stanley Yates. Dr. Yates is a British-born guitarist and enjoys an international career as a concert performer and recording artist, teacher, arranger, and scholar. Currently, he is a resident of the United States, he is a Professor of Music and director of guitar studies at Austin Peay State University, home of Tennessee's Center of Excellence for the Creative Arts. The highlight of the evening was a duet of Dr. Moon, written by Miss Shannon's own, Bryce Mullins with Dr. Stanley Yates.
